„ENSILUMI – Der erste Schnee“ ist ein Austauschprojekt von finnischen und deutschen Künstlerinnen. In dieses Bild von Freiraum und Neuanfang möchten wir durch unsere künstlerische Arbeit Markierungen setzen. „Ensilumi – Der erste Schnee“ transportiert uns in eine neue Welt, einen unberührten Raum, eine neue Kraft der Sensibilität, die entdeckt werden will. Wie im Rhythmus der Natur begegnen wir uns als Künstlerinnen immer wieder. Wir inspirieren uns gegenseitig und lassen unsere Arbeiten immer wieder neu aufeinander reagieren. Abhängig von Ort, Raum und Zeit. Das Projekt zeigt Werke, die das Poetische als ästhetischen „modus operandi“ verwenden. Dies geschieht durch vielfältige künstlerische Herangehensweisen – Zeichnung, Druckgrafik, Malerei, Installation, Skulptur und Performance.. Durch dieses Projekt wollen wir die neue finnische und die Berliner Kunstszene zusammenführen. Wir möchten den kreativen Kontakt zwischen künstlerischen Anschauungen fördern und dem Publikum in Berlin und Finnland eine thematische Ausstellung bieten.

„ENSILUMI – THE FIRST SNOW“ is an exchange project involving Finish and German artists. The first snow transforms the world into a maiden canvas. We mark this open space with our works of art. “Ensilumi – The first snow” is an invitation to discover a new, untouched world containing a new power of sensibility.
We, the artists, meet and exchange ideas.
We inspire one another and our art reacts to the multiple stimuli.
The displayed artworks project poetic motives onto a range of media drawings, prints, paintings, sculpture,
installation and performance.
In this project we want to bring together parts of the Finnish and Berlin art scene.
We want to inspire creative contact between artistic visions and want to showcase the results
in a thematic exhibition.
